Pulps From Certified Forests

Canfor Pulp and Paper Marketing is pleased to be able to offer limited quantities of pulps that are fully traceable to sustainably managed forests. Working with accredited Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) auditors we have developed an auditable system for tracing the flow of certified fibre from forests through sawmills and into our pulps. The certified fibre content today includes material from forests certified as being sustainably managed under either the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Sustainable Forest Management Standard or the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFISM). If material certified under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) system becomes available, it will be included too.
