Canfor Pulp Limited Partnership (CPLP) is proud to be able to offer one of the most diverse ranges of softwood kraft pulps available from any supplier to the pulp market today.
Softwood Kraft Pulps
CPLP produces softwood kraft pulps at all three of our mills in the central interior of British Columbia, located near Prince George. The mills produce ECF or enhanced ECF (EECF) softwood kraft pulps, from the residual chips produced at local sawmills. The primary species we use are white spruce (Picea glauca), lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) and alpine fir (Abies lasiocarpa). These fibres are in demand worldwide for their superior ability to reinforce a wide range of demanding paper grades. The majority of production is fully bleached pulp, but CPLP produces specialty unbleached, unbleached electrical and semi-bleached varieties too.
