Linking Certified forests to Paper Products and Paper users
Chain-of-Custody refers to the tracking of forest products through all phases of ownership, processing and transportation, from the forest of origin to the end consumer.
We are committed to at all times avoid sourcing and trading raw material that represents:
- Illegally harvested wood;
- Wood harvested in violation of traditional and civil rights;
- Wood harvested in forests where high conservation values are threatened by management activities;
- Wood harvested in forests being converted to plantations;
- Wood harvested in forests where genetically modified trees are planted.
At CPLP this is one of the ways that we demonstrate full accountability for the legal and sustainable sourcing of the fibre we use to produce our pulps and papers.
